Identity & usage
The Malina brand.
A droplet held inside a closed loop of connected nodes: oil that stays in the system, measured at every point. Deep petroleum green for the structure, reactor green for what is alive in it.
01. Logo
The mark, the wordmark, and the lockup.
The full lockup is the default. Where vertical space is tight, a site header, a nameplate, a favicon, the mark stands alone with the wordmark set in type beside it.
Clear space and minimum size
- Leave clear space around the lockup equal to the height of the mark on all four sides.
- Minimum width for the full lockup in print: 30 mm. On screen: 150 px.
- Minimum size for the mark alone: 16 px. Below that, use the favicon file.
- On dark backgrounds, use the reversed lockup, never the full-colour lockup on a dark fill.
Do not
- Recolour the mark outside the two brand greens.
- Stretch, skew, rotate or add effects such as drop shadows or bevels.
- Place the lockup on a busy photograph without a solid or scrimmed panel behind it.
- Rebuild the wordmark in a different typeface, or re-space the letters.
- Use the mark as a bullet, a texture, or a repeating pattern.
02. Colour
Green is the official colour, and the only one.
The logo carries two greens. The interface carries one, against white and black. Nothing else is chromatic, which is what makes the green mean something where it does appear.

How green is used
- Green
#26CE51is the only chromatic colour in the interface. Everything else is white, grey or black. - It is spent in one place, the masthead field at the top of every page. Below that it marks one thing at a time: an active state, a limit, or a rule.
- The page runs green, then white, then black. Three values, nothing between them.
- On the accent field all type is black, which measures 10.0:1. White on green measures 2.1:1 and is never used.
- Where green must carry small type on white, use
#0D7F31, the bright green fails at text sizes. - Status is expressed by value, not hue. On the condition rail, caution and alarm are greyscale and hatch density; only the limit line is green.
Proportion
One accent field per page, then white. The green earns its impact by being spent once, when everything is green, nothing is.
Contrast floor
Every text colour clears WCAG AA. On white: ink 18.9:1, body 10.4:1, muted 5.9:1, tertiary 4.6:1, link green 4.98:1. On the accent field, ink measures 10.0:1.
03. Typography
One family. Monospace, everywhere.
Display and body are the same typeface. Hierarchy comes from scale, weight and case, not from a second family. Figures are set with tabular numerals so every column of numbers on the site aligns.

JetBrains Mono 400
Running text, navigation, buttons and forms. Line height 1.72 and a 62-character measure, both wider than a proportional face would need.
Technical
LABEL 500
Section indexes, table headers, units and field labels. Uppercase at 0.18em tracking, 11 px. Never used for sentences.
